Hello International President’s Team,

The Founder’s Circle, Chairman’s Club and executive team wanted to share the focused and key discussion topics from the incredible meetings that we just completed in Athens, Greece.
The Athens meeting continues the highly productive strategy discussions which are the focus of all our meetings going forward.

We created an agenda together in advance that focused on our key concerns and priorities to move the company into the future. And as always, the Founder’s Circle and Chairman’s Club met privately before the meeting to share and align concerns and priorities in advance of the meeting. Most of these concerns were already scheduled to be addressed within the agenda and others were either addressed on the spot, or will be incorporated into future calls.

We had extremely productive and positive discussions on the following strategies and topics:

Channel Distribution –To promote our distributor difference business model on a region by region basis, the company continues to evolve current strategies and in this case, review strategies that were launched months ago which we felt were very encouraging. We reviewed the new NAM maximum protection policy and an approach proposed by EMEA to protect the one to one relationship with Distributors and their customers through the select distribution structure available in EMEA. Further review and discussion will happen with S&P at regional level.

Tirelli Agreement – As this topic continues to be raised from time to time, the company agreed to present an overview of the Tirelli Agreement. We reviewed what the agreement covers and what are the most frequently asked question and the company’s responses. All the Q&A discussed will be sent to President’s Team in each region.

Pricing - – We looked at the current pricing models and discussed what are core products and what are not, discussed regional tests and how we evaluate the test markets going forward. We also looked at a Margin Share pricing model as the
way to reinforce our product portfolio with innovative and competitive products in markets where supported by the local S&P.

Segmentation – we reviewed updates from NAM and India and discussed plans in Brazil and Italy. We discussed the difference between regulatory drivers (Italy) vs business drivers (Brazil). Keeping with our demands, the company reinforced that this is purely about segmenting the distributor base between customers and those interested in a business opportunity.

Product – We reviewed the overall product strategy and had reviews of short and long term potential of different categories (Healthy Weight, Keep/Fit look, good/sports nutrition) related to innovation and market size. Founder’s Circle and Chairmen’s Club from outside the US emphasized the need to ensure a clear regional and local strategy aligned with the business and regulatory realities and how more resources can help move these markets forward. We also discussed how to align the Global strategy and the regional/local implementation.

Digital Transformation – This has been an area of focus for some time. The company brought forward a clear understanding of our position around the world, and the need to catch up in many markets, while advancing further in the larger, or more advanced markets. The company has embraced a new approach to speed up development and roll out of core systems and new technology. This will be a continued area of focus as we go forward. We discussed how can we improve current and future technology and provide Distributors greater ability to service customers and distributor.

Social Media – We reviewed social media business flow how it is impacting our current business both corporately and as a tool for distributors. We have asked the company to get ahead of these issues and all feel the team is responding. Greater depth was presented on high profile examples from EMEA and NAM helped all understand this issue further and the company is clearly keeping a strong focus on this area as it continues to evolve.

Education and Training Strategies – We reviewed the new Education and Training ecosystem being developed by the Global Education committee and the company. The company has formed a Global Education and Training committee and is clearly following the advice and new ideas coming from this
committee. Next steps will be to present ideas at the regional and local level for refinement and eventual implementation.

All of us in the meeting are excited about our future. We want you to be assured that all of your questions, issues and ideas for today and the future are important to all of us.

Let’s take this company beyond the 20 billion goal and take Mark’s vision to new heights that none of us could have imagined.
